The Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle is once again on sale for $50 off at Amazon and Best Buy. Normally $500, the console bundle is discounted to $450 as a last-minute holiday deal. This promotion could expire at any time.
There’s another possible reason why this Cyber Monday deal has returned at major retailers. According to an internal GameStop memo shared by Nintendeal, the bundle is no longer in production. This isn’t a surprise, as Nintendo originally stated the bundle would only be available until Fall 2025. In any case, this could be your last chance to not only save on the bundle, but buy it from a major retailer in general.
$450 (was $500)
The Mario Kart World console bundle is valued at $530, so you’re essentially getting a copy of the Switch 2 exclusive for free. The bundle includes a voucher that can be redeemed on the Switch 2 eShop for the digital edition of Mario Kart World.
Here’s what’s included inside the box:
- Switch 2 with 7.9-inch LCD display
- Joy-Con 2: Left and Right
- Joy-Con 2 Straps
- Joy-Con 2 Grip
- Dock for TV Mode
- Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable
- USB-C Cable
- 60W AC adapter
- Voucher for Mario Kart World
The Mario Kart bundle is selling for the same price as the Switch 2 console on its own. The deal is currently only available at Amazon and Best Buy.
The bundle is in stock at Walmart but is listed at $499 at the time of writing. GameStop also has units available for $500. Target, meanwhile, has been sold out of the bundle for weeks and is unlikely to ever restock it.
If you want to play Mario Kart World with motion controls, Nintendo’s official Joy-Con 2 Wheel Set includes two controller attachments and is on sale for only $20 (was $25) at Amazon.
The Nintendo Switch 2 has 256GB of internal storage, but you can expand your storage with microSD Express Cards. You may want to consider picking up a microSD Express with the console, because it’s never been cheaper to double the Switch 2’s storage capacity. Amazon has a limited-time deal that drops the price of the Samsung P9 256GB microSD Express to only $33 (was $55).
One of the first accessories every new Switch 2 owner should buy is a carrying case. There are still a few officially licensed Nintendo Switch 2 travel cases on sale for Cyber Monday prices. For a case that’s large enough for the console and dock, check out the RDS Industries Game Traveler Deluxe System Case for $25 (was $30). If you’d prefer a sleeker travel case, the PowerA Slim Case is on sale for $13.30 (was $20) at Amazon. A Super Mario-themed edition of the Slim Case is discounted to $14 (was $20).
