Best Nintendo Switch game deals at Woot

These deals were originally expected to end today, but Woot has extended them by three weeks. That said, Nintendo Switch game deals at Woot tend to sell out fairly quick. A few of the games on this list have sold out multiple times throughout the past week or so, but Woot restocked its inventory on Halloween.

One of the most notable deals at Woot is Super Mario Bros. Wonder for just $45 (was $60). The title brings Mario back to his side-scrolling roots, and the addition of Wonder Flowers means every level has a unique twist to them. Collecting these objects will radically rework the level, causing pipes to come alive or enemies to stampede across the screen. Our Super Mario Bros. Wonder review gave it a 9/10, and it’s an easy recommendation for all Switch owners.

Nintendo World Championships, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is also discounted to $45 (was $60). Consider giving the remaster a look if you want to enjoy engaging turn-based combat and a wonderful cast of characters. Our Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door review awarded the charming role-playing game a 9/10, thanks to dynamic combat, beautiful HD visuals, and hilarious writing that’s held up nicely over the years.

Other notable deals include Nintendo World Championships for $25 (was $30) and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for $45 (was $70). Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Shield are both $40 right now, so if you’ve missed out on the last few generations, now’s the time to finally dive in. And if you’re nostalgic for Gen 1 or need to buy a gift for a budding Pokemon Trainer this holiday, Pokemon: Let’s Go, PIkachu and Eevee are also available for $40 each. This remake of Pokemon Yellow mixes in Pokemon Go-esque catching mechanics and places the Pokemon on the map, removing random battles as a result. It’s a more streamlined experience, but it’s still a great way to revisit the Kanto region.

One quirk about shopping for Switch games at Woot these days is that you aren’t guaranteed to receive a North American version of physical titles. Nintendo Switch is region-free, however, so if you’re sent a UK or Japanese version, you’ll still be able to play it in English without any issues. If you decide to purchase DLC, just make sure you’re purchasing the DLC for the region of the game–for example, if you’re given a UK version of Pokemon Scarlet, you’ll need to use the UK eShop to purchase The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
