After you collect and sell your first Ayleid Statue in Oblivion Remastered, as you go about your business you will eventually be approached by a well-to-do butler, Jollring, with a proposition.
His master, Umbacano, is a collector of Ayleid Statues and he’s caught wind of the artifact you sold. He asks you to meet him in the Talos Plaza District of the Imperial City, at his manor next to the Talos Statue, during the daytime.
Meet him in his private quarters and Umbacano will offer you double the value of each statue when you turn it in – 500 gold a piece – with a 5000 gold premium for completing the whole set.
With a reward of nearly a whopping 10000 gold in total, it’s well worth your time to track each Ayleid Statue down, especially if you’re planning on buying the most expensive houses in Cyrodiil.
Ayleid Statue locations
Counting the initial Statue you sold already, there are 10 Ayleid Statues to find in Oblivion Remastered. Below we’ve embedded an interactive map of where to find each one:
There are 10 nodes on the map because even though you probably got your first statue from Vilverin, the first Ruin you come across next to the Imperial Sewers, you could just as easily come across another somewhere else.
Either way, whenever you grab a new one, return to Umbacano in his study and choose the Ayleid Statue dialogue option. He’ll place each one inside the display cabinet in his private quarters, so you’ll always know how many there are left to find.
Then, once you’re done and the reward is collected, it’s a classic Oblivion money exploit to immediately steal them all back again as soon as his back is turned and flog them for the Independent Thievery Quest!
