Priest Guide for New Players (Around Level 55)
By Sphinctus.
This guide focuses on using Magnus Exorcismus, and how to best optimize for new players. This ability places a massive AOE on the ground that completely obliterates & Staggers monsters. This is one of the strongest attacks in the game! The issue however is the long cast time, so we will use many tricks/tips in this guide to get that cast time down.
Stat Distribution
Glass Cannon Build
2dex for every 1 int. Essentially your Dex should be Double your int Stat. Dex is very important for lowering the cast time of Magnus Exorcismus!
You can also go 50 dex, 50 int, and rest into vit. Really depends on how tanky vs Glass cannon you want to be.
Skill Build
Your Acolyte skill build is purely a Solo build, You can take points out of holy light and put them into angelus if you wish, if you need more protection.I personally light holy light for attacking weaker enemies, or if i need to quickly finish off a monster and do not want to wait for a magnus cast. Heal and Blessing buffs are self explanatory.
Priest is first and foremost getting level 10 Magnus Exorcismus. Level 10 turn undead is nice to Solo higher level undead mobs. Level 1 Resurrection and Leveling sanctuary will help you offheal in party play, which can be the difference between defeating a mvp, or your party being the ones defeated!

For this section, Choose items that include the most important stats for this build.
Prioritize Variable CT -% & Dex. Outside of that, MDMG +%, Ignore MDEF +%, CRIT DMG +%, and +int are good stats to focus on.
Elder Willow is One of the best Cards in the game for your build. You want to get it to level 15, and +3 Awakening ASAP. You can have two of them equipped, giving you a total of -10% Variable CT!
Pets
Milly
This is possibly the best pet, as it is the only easy to get pet that has an ability that will give you -CT%.
Squidgitte
Squidette is great as they can buff your entire parties’ DMG.
Dunell
Dunell is TECHNICALLY the best pet, however it’s nearly impossible without whaling to get the bonus that’s good from it. Tier 3 Will significantly lower your CT, So this is your long term pet goal!
(Optional) Earth Lord
Earth Lord works as a tank that will have the aggro of any monsters taken off of you. Kind of a quality of life thing, as it does nothing to really increase your Dmg.
Feathers
For feathers, there are two systems. Atk and Def Statues. You will need to take advantage of different types of feathers for each type of statue.
Duel, Rune, Weapon, & Intimidation Statues:
Wisdom, Fortitude, and Mist Statues:
Verus Cores
There are three different levels of cores. You are allowed an allocation of 15 points, notated by the number on the bottom left of the core, If you are lucky when creating cores, you can generate cores of a lesser cost.
Archdam Cogwheel (Lowest Level)
Vesper Cogwheel (Middle Level)
Dimik Cogwheel (Highest Level)
The most important Cores to focus on stat wise are the following:
General Tips
- Always remember to have blue gemstones! They are a requirement to cast Magnus exorcismus!
- Undead, Poison, & Shadow monsters will take more damage from your skills, so use that to your advantage!
