Beginner Progression Guide
This progression setup provides a smooth path from the early game through Torment by using a balanced three-character team consisting of a Priest, Sorcerer, and Ranger.
Early Game to Nightmare Act 3
Priest

The Priest serves as the team’s frontline while providing consistent healing and buffs.
Sorcerer

Prioritize Cooldown Reduction throughout progression.
Ranger

- Arrow Rain or Piercing Arrow
Recommended Stats

Focus primarily on increasing damage to clear enemies quickly. This setup is sufficient to reach Nightmare Act 3.
Nightmare Act 3 to Torment 2-9
Priest
Replace Heal with Wrath of Heaven.
Skills

- Wrath of Heaven
Recommended Stats
- Max HP
- Chaos Resistance
- Movement Speed
Useful secondary stats include:
- Lightning Damage (Weapon)
- Life Leech
- Attack Speed
Sorcerer
Continue using the same build.
Priority
- Reach the maximum 75% Cooldown Reduction.
Ranger

- Piercing Arrow
Recommended Stats
- Physical Damage %
- Attack Speed
- Movement Speed
Aim for:
- 5.5%+ Attack Speed
- 6% or higher is ideal for transitioning into a solo Ranger build.
Stat priority:
- Physical Damage (enough to one-shot enemies)
- Attack Speed
- Movement Speed
This setup can comfortably progress to Torment 2-9.
Torment Progression
After reaching Torment 2-9, you have two options:
- Continue farming to improve survivability.
- Transition to a Solo Ranger build if your gear is strong enough.
Many players encounter a progression wall around Torment 3-3, making this a common point to switch to Solo Ranger.
For Solo Ranger:
- Keep the same offensive stat priorities.
- Replace accessory stats with Movement Speed for faster farming.
Once your Solo Ranger is well geared, begin upgrading your Priest and Sorcerer so you can efficiently return to three-character farming with much faster clear speeds.
Cube Progression Tips
Upgrade your Cube regularly instead of falling behind. For the best experience gain:
- Cube equipment that is within 10 levels of your current Cube level.
For example, avoid reaching character level 80 while your Cube remains around level 40.
Alchemy Priorities
Use:
- Alchemy when you need additional runes.
- Synthesis when you need better equipment.
