Dragonite Ore in Monster Hunter Wilds is a mining resource you’ll start to need a decent way through the story, in order to craft stronger weapons and whatnot. But, like previous ores, it’s not made entirely clear where to get it. This may have led you to the question: Where do you find Dragonite Ore in Monster Hunter Wilds?
This guide will answer just that, telling you where you can start obtaining Dragonite, as well as the best places to farm Dragonite for those who needs a lot of the stuff. All in one place, for quick reference before you hop back in.
Where to find Dragonite Ore in Monster Hunter Wilds
Dragonite Ore can be found in from Mining Outcrops in The Cliffs and Wyveria. Same as previous tiers of ore, you’ll need to track down the dark blue ore nodes across the region and go out to snatch ’em up.
It’s worth noting that the drop rate for Dragonite Ore appears to be greater in Wyveria than in The Cliffs. Therefore, if you’re willing to wait a bit, spending time grabbing a bunch a little later in the game may be a better use of your time. Otherwise, The Cliffs should still be okay.
If you’re looking to farm Dragonite Ore quickly, you can head to Zone 8 at the very top level of the The Cliffs. There, you’ll find three Mining Outcrops within a short distance of each other. In Wyveria, there sadly isn’t a nice cave where you can grab a bunch in quick succession. However, you can start from Zone 7, move on to Zone 8, then all the way to Zone 15 for a few nodes.
