Where to find Monster Fluid in Monster Hunter Wilds

In Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll very quickly find that you need dozens of materials in abundance if you’re hoping to upgrade different armor sets and weapons for all the tough hunts you’ll be embarking on. One of these materials is the elusive Monster Fluid, which you won’t find dropping from large monsters.

Instead, Monster Fluid is a drop from one of Wilds’ smaller creatures. A very unpleasant one at that. Here’s where to find Monster Fluid in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Where to find Monster Fluid in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Fluid is a drop from Nerscylla Hatchlings in Monster Hunter Wilds, one of the game’s Small Monsters. These creatures can be found near Nerscylla, who is located in Iceshard Cliffs. This particular biome is unlocked a few hours into the game, and you’ll then be free to fight the spider-like monster as much as you please.

That said, you don’t actually have to fight Nerscylla to slay her Hatchling’s and collect Monster Fluid from them, though you might as well do so. If you approach a Nerscylla and begin slaying Nerscylla Hatchling’s, Nerscylla will more than likely begin to attack you either way, and she will get in the way of you carving the corpses of her children for materials.

If you choose to hunt Nerscylla while farming Monster Fluid, you’ll find that the monster typically spawns more Hatchlings during the fight. Just make sure that if Nerscylla decides to move to another area during the fight, farm the carcasses of her Hatchling’s before following them.

While Monster Fluid is most reliably and efficiently farmed from Nerscylla Hatchlings, there is also a chance for the resource to drop from the following Low Rank monsters: Vespoid, Bulaqchi, and Lala Barina.
