This guide will take you through exactly that, pointing you to which areas you have to go to in order to havest Sturdy Bones, as well as good farming spots. With this, you should have no problem tracking them down and making your new sweet piece of gear.
Where to find Sturdy Bones in Monster Hunter Wilds
Sturdy Bones can be found in Bone Piles across all regions in the game. These are light brown resource nodes you can see on your map. As you’ll need these for early game crafts, your best bet is to start farming them in The Plains or The Forest.
When searching through Bone Piles here, you’ll also get a mix of Mystery Bones at roughly the same drop rate. Dig through enough and you should dig up a Sturdy Bone or two without having to reset the map in camp.
If you’re looking to find some Sturdy Bones fast, you can either head to the East side of The Plains, and look for a small cave north of the river there. Inside, you’ll find two Bone Piles right next to each other. There are other different types of Bone nodes in The Plains, but they can’t drop Stout Bones, so don’t bother looking through them. Alternatively, head to zone 4 in The Forst and you’ll find a cave covered in red webs. Inside, there are three Bone Piles there. We recommend The Forest for farming, unless you want a Sturdy Bone super early.
