Your Modern Warfare 3 Double XP Tokens Are Now In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hasn’t even been out a month yet, and it’s already smashing engagement records. But if you need to get an edge in progression, veteran Call of Duty fans just got some good news. The double XP tokens from last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3–as well as the tokens from Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone–have now been carried over to Black Ops 6 as part of the Season 1 update that went live today.

Double XP tokens can be equipped by players to help them quickly increase their experience as well as unlock weapons and equipment. The tokens are available to use in Black Ops 6’s multiplayer and zombie modes. Because the game hasn’t been out for very long, there’s only been a single Double XP weekend to date, but there will likely be more in the future.

In the meantime, Black Ops 6 Season 1 has given players the chance to buy Gobblegums with real money. One of the main attractions this season is the BlackCell bundle, which introduces Goliath, an impressive new operator who stands out from the pack. Among other new weapon options, the bundle features the debut of a Boiling Point assault rifle that looks like it’s dripping with fire even when not in use. In a more lighthearted touch, Peter Stormare’s The Replacer is also a playable operator in this bundle.

So far, Black Ops 6 doesn’t appear to have been hurt at all by coming to Game Pass on day one. Fans seem as excited as ever to dive into it. But before you download the Black Ops 6 Season 1 update, you should know that it has a massive file size. So make sure that you have room for it.
