Arc Raiders may have just surpassed over 12m lifetime sales, analyst estimates

Arc Raiders may have surpassed 12m sales at the start of 2026, according to video game industry analysts.

According to Rhys Elliot from Alinea Analytics, the game passed the milestone through PC, Xbox, and PS5 sales combined. Alinea also claims that the 4th January was the game’s biggest day in terms of daily active users: roughly 3.2 million players across all platforms.

According to Elliot, the cause of this new peak of daily active users stems from a well-timed sale that coincided with the Christmas holidays, writing on Bluesky: “Daily copies sold started to stabilise by early Dec, but a well-timed 20 percent discount across all platforms – and the holiday boost – reversed that.”

Alinea Analytics obviously are not privy to internal data from Embark Studios, but it has made accurate estimates on game sales before. These include accurately deducing when Arc Raiders passed 2.5m sales, as well as noting when Battlefield 6 passed 7m sales only five days after it launched. So while a grain of salt should be taken with such estimates, there’s a history of accuracy here.

Elliot also highlighted other interesting figures from Alinea Analytics estimates of Arc Raiders, including the fact that over 50 percent of players can be found on Steam. Alinea also claims that by passing 12m sales, the game will have made at least over $350m in revenue.

Arc Raiders indeed appears to be maintaining its strong momentum ever since launching last year. It was confirmed to be the best-selling game over the holiday period, all while new information keeps creeping out about how the popular extraction shooter works, such as its aggressive matchmaking system.
