Free-to-play mobile and PC studio Plarium has announced the next major franchise crossing over with Raid: Shadow Legends, the turn-based dark fantasy game. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed is heading to Raid starting today and running through April 8. Assassin’s Creed is just the latest major franchise to come to Raid, following previous collabs with Monster Hunter, Alien, and TMNT.

As part of the collaboration, players can look forward to a new dungeon that gives players the opportunity to unlock some of the franchise’s biggest names, including Ezio Auditore, Edward Kenway, Kassandra, Bayek, and Basim Ibn Ishaq.

Plarium VP of business development Ronen Gross explained that the studio “worked closely” with Ubisoft to help bring the assassins to the game in a faithful manner, representing each of their unique skills, along with their trademark weapons and animations.

“Working with such a renowned IP set a high creative bar for us, yet the tone and variety of Assassin’s Creed world building made the crossover feel naturally aligned with Raid,” he said.

There are different ways to unlock each of the Assassin’s Creed heroes–here’s what you need to know, as written by Plarium:

  • Ezio: Free via Loyalty Program on the 7th day of logging into RAID, with additional rewards up to 14 days including an Ezio avatar and in-game resources.
  • Kassandra: Available via Fusion Event for all players from January 8th through January 24th, then through Shards until April 8th. Requires completion of specific in-game events and tournaments to gather the necessary resources.
  • Edward Kenway, Bayek, and Basim: Available through Shards and limited-time events throughout the crossover.

The crossover only runs for a limited time, but players who unlock any of the new characters will get to keep them going forward.

You can download Raid for free now on mobile via the App Store, Google Play, and Aptoide, along with for PC through the Microsoft Store, Epic Store, Steam, or Plarium Play.

As for the Assassin’s Creed series, there are multiple new games in the works, including the free mobile game Assassin’s Creed Jade, the cat simulator Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, a Fall Guys-like multiplayer game, and a new title made for Netflix. The latest entry in the series was 2025’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
