As Naoe and Yasuke track down the elusive member of the Shinbakufu known as the Mourner and the Wheel, Yasuke gets back in touch with an old ally from his days training as a samurai, Lady Oichi, sister to the deposed Lord Nobunaga.
Vulnerable and with many enemies looking to exploit her position, Lady Oichi has retreated to the ruins of her old seat in Odani, an area you’re unlikely to have explored up to know – although it does serve as the location for one of the Godai Shinobi.
A Talk with a Lady – Lady Oichi location
To find Lady Oichi, you’re given the following three clues:
- She is in Omi
- She is in southeastern Goshiki Outlands
- She is in the ruins of Odani
The Goshiki Outlands are in the top-right corner of the map, in the province of Omi, with Odani being the viewpoint in the top-right corner further still.
The easiest way there is to fast travel to Nagahama Kakurega and travel northeast from there.
Follow the main road northeast out of Nagahama, then through the battlefield at Odani to the ruins of the estate. Before you reach the viewpoint at the destroyed Tenshu, you should already spot Oichi’s bodyguard, Kuma.
When you arrive, speak to Kuma and agree to meet with Oichi. In the remains of her garden, Oichi asks about your involvement with the League and battle against the Shinbakufu. As an ominous soundtrack plays, you’re given the choice of telling her the truth or playing coy – either way, she reveals that she’s working against them as well and gives you the information she’s gathered against them so far.
This puts you on the trail of the Shinbakufu agent in Omi, the Mourner, with your first quest sending you to Nagahama, where you can find clues to their identity at the local Teppo factory.
