Introduced relatively late in the life cycle of FC 25, the Low Driven PlayStyle is back in EA Sports FC 26, only this time, it’s replaced timed finishing as the mechanic tied to pressing the shoot button again after you’ve already powered up your shot.
So, to perform a Low Driven Shot in FC 26 you need to:
- Charge up a regular shot as you normally would by holding the circle button
- Before your player lets loose, release the button and press it again as they strike the ball
- This will make your player drill the shot across the ground, with great accuracy if they have the PlayStyle, often flummoxing goalkeepers
This means that Low Driven Shots take a little bit of practice to figure out, but it also means that every single player has access to them – in theory. However, like many of the mechanics in EA Sports FC, players with the corresponding PlayStyle can perform actions much more consistently and effectively than others, so it pays to know who has this particularly overpowered shooting style.
