How to Fix Failed to Load Data Issue

Failed to load data. Would you like to load data from old version instead?

You can fix this by the follow steps:

• Enter game and click “confirm” button when the tip appears, then you will get to the start screen
• Do not close game, open this folder:
  • C:\Users[UserName]\AppData\LocalLow\MeowNature\Depersonalization-Release\[UserId]
• Delete “GameHallData_Error_1718640132” and “GameHallData_Tmp”
• Click Start Game button, and the load save panel will appear, load the auto save, then there will be a “Read error” tip, choose “back to hall”.

If you are in the main hall, it is done now. But be aware that there’s a save error and the old saves have been corrupted. So everything have been reset now, you need to recreate new characters and start modules from the very beginning, sorry about that.

A new game package have been submitted to avoid such problems but it is still under review, when the new package is released, the game will back up save data on opening game, and you will have a recent back up save to reduce the loss if such problem appears again
