If you’re here, then it’s likely you’ve run into the three mysterious, spectral wolf statues that are found in the battlefield during DOOM: The Dark Ages’ The Siege Part 1 (Chapter 6). Fortunately, this puzzle isn’t too troublesome, and merely requires you to locate and destroy three nearby wolf statues. That said, one of these is particularly well hidden!
To help you with tracking them down and reaping your rewards, here are all wolf statue locations in DOOM: The Dark Ages’ The Siege Part 1 chapter..
DOOM: The Dark Ages wolf statue locations
As mentioned, this particular puzzle in DOOM: The Dark Ages requires you to find three wolf statues, which are all relatively close to the spectral version of them found in The Siege Part 1’s battlefield.
Finding and destroying all three of the stone creatures will allow you to restore the spectral statues and gain access to a fourth statue which holds a Ruby that you can claim. These are vital for upgrading your weapons and gear!
First things first, the three spectral wolf statues – and the statue holding the Ruby – is found just a short walk from the start of the level, and is labelled on the below map. To destroy each wolf statue, you’ll need to Shield Throw at it.

From the spectral wolf statues, the first statue that you need to destroy is actually beneath the cliff edge that these statues are on, marked on the below map.

Next, if you stand on the second spectral wolf pedestal and look outwards, you should see the second statue in the distance. It’s slightly obscured by some rocks.

Last, but not least, the third wolf statue is in the opposite direction to the first, and is on the edge of another small cliff.
From the spectral statues, turn to face down the hill. You should see this wolf statue on the cliff adjacent to the bottom of the hill, shown below.
With all three wolf statues destroyed, their spectral counterparts will have been restored. You can now interact with the fourth statue here to retrieve a Ruby as your reward!
