Girls Frontline 2: Exilium – Boss Battle Guide
Boss Battle and You
By Brangore.
So you have got to LVL 30 and can now Fight the Boss Deichgraf here I’m going to write down some tips and Tricks for the boss.
First big thing for the boss you only use up a Boss Ticket when you CONFIRM your score at the end of the fight you can at any point leave the fight and not use up a ticket.
The Boss Mode is a SCORE ATTACK not kill the Boss mode so you don’t actually need to kill the boss as an Example I won Boss 8 with the bosses at less then 20% each but none of them dead so write down the SCORE needed to win before you start your run.
When you reach Boss LVL 6 and above you are going to need two teams to fight the boss next comments will be about those different fights with some information on his abilities and Dolls that can be useful to beat them.
So you have Reached Boss LVL 6 and will now need two teams to beat the bugger well hopefully these comments will help you understand a bit more on how stuff will work so he isn’t as annoying for you.
First a Generic information when you beat/ finish the first phase of the boss you will have the option to leave and I suggest doing so since this will let you Swap Weapons and Common Keys on your Girls making it easier to beat the boss in both stages without spending insane amount of resources since after 40 lvling stuff up costs LOADS.
Boss Stage 1: Part of Boss 1-7
In the Boss stage 1 he will summon Armor down to the sides of himself and the turn after that he will attack them to gain a buff you can stop this by having a Doll standing in the same line as the Armor they will take the attack instead then.
You can also use one of the Bombs he spawns to kill the Armor but this isnt that easy to do and killing the bombs yourself gives a DPS up to your Characters so most of the time that is just better.
In later stages he will also spawn some mobs generally the top left mob is the only scary one that you want to kill quickly but the other mob does Taunt so do kill it but no need to focus it down on turn 1 over the top left one.
The boss also does a Cross attack but since he cant move just make sure your not standing in the lines when he is planning to do that attack.
Boss Stage 1: Best Dolls
Groza, Sabrina and Suomi all give you ways to more easily tank the Hits in front of the Armor.
If one does not have Suomi it might be a good idea to bring more then 1 healer to be able to survive tanking the Armor easier.
Other then that this fight is mostly Tank and Spank so your not going to need anything special.
Boss Stage 2: Part of Boss 6-8
This Stage of the boss has you needing to send a Doll in to a separate arena to do a special mission in 3 turns time or you die most of the time its just to kill X monsters but there is also one where you need to heal a Dinergate to full HP for that one I mostly reset the fight since it makes it hard to keep up with the boss dmg output and as said earlier resetting doesn’t cost a ticket so go for it.
Other then the side Area the boss has two Minions during the fight 1 from the start a Moose that if you let get to close will stun one of your units and a Bear that spawns about 3-4 turns in to the fight and will do a Hydro AoE attack the bear can just be ignored if it isn’t causing you problems.
Now for the boss attacks and how to best avoid them this Stage of the boss has a CROSS attack similar to the one in Phase one but the new thing here is that the boss can actually move so he will try to do so to hit multiple of your dolls with one Cross attack DO note this boss is weak to SLOW so make sure you have at least one of your Dolls being able to slow him down it makes it so he has a really hard to using his Cross attack.
The other ability he does is toss Armor where he picks a Character in your team and tosses Armor on them it looks similar to the armor he spawns on Stage 1 but the diffirence here is that this armor you want to run away from since after one or two turns he will Recall the armor and do AoE DMG to anyone close to the Armor.
Boss Stage 2: Best Dolls
Vepley, Sabrina and Lotta are really good at running the Side area since they are quick and can do AoE attacks so make sure your team is at least running 1 of these it will make the side area a lot easier for you.
Sabrina and Vepley even outside of the Side area can be really nice since you can make sure the boss is always slowed down since your most probably going to have 1 of these units inside the side area for most of the fight.
If the boss is slowed down the boss has quite the low dmg output so you can do this with just 1 healer just play it safe Colphene can be nice if one dosnt have Suomi for the big AoE heal.
