Both the Sense 2 and Versa 4 of Fitbits are to get Google features in post-launch updates. Google recently launched its first smartphone feature: the Google Wallet.

In a blog post shared by November 15th, Fitbit said it started rolling out the Sense 2 and Versa 4 Google Wallet. Whether you have any of these smart watches with Fitbit or by tapping your profile button in the upper-left corner, or by tapping your keyboard, or tap the Wallet option. From there you can add your Google Wallet card for easy payment.

This addition means that users can now choose between Fitbit Pay and Google Wallet. This is a nice benefit for anyone already using Google Wallet that doesn’t want to run multiple payments apps.

I thought that he would mention that Google Maps navigation could be turned-by-turn, but not excited. In the blog post, Google maps will go to the Sense 2 and Versa 4, which we have known a long time. For those features an official date would be good, but the fun is telling customers exactly when they can expect something.

Oh, and Google Assistant support for the Sense2 and Versa 4 feature there isn’t yet, a feature available on other cynical devices. That’s a very bad thing, although Fitbit couldn’t confirm or deny if Assistant would come to the Sense 2. I won’t stand my breath.
