The significant milestone of 10 years of operation for Guild Wars 2 will be celebrated in-person at two different gaming conventions. ArenaNet developers will be at Gamescom in Köln, Germany, and PAX West in Seattle, and they’re planning a couple of special meetings. Play the 3rd game: the 2nd of the three game series.
On August 25th, in Germany, players are invited to go with the Designer Post for drinks and talks, and raffles in the cozy Guild Wars 2 atmosphere. Admission to this event is free, but the venue space will be limited, so those who will be able to reserve a spot through a ticket system on August 5th.
In terms of PAX West, there is a Tyrian Stamp Parade in September, 2nd and 3rd, which will start in the Central Public Library of Seattle. Players will get a special stamp book and handwritten keys in four different locations where other GW2-devs can get a stamp. Once all four titos were received, successful fans could return to the library for some GW2 schwag.
In both cases, we want to remind readers of the importance of taking necessary precautions to protect themselves and others. That is still one of the most important considerations. That being said, those who may participate in these events can mark their calendars.
