How to get a wet carrot in Grow a Garden

How to get a wet carrot in Grow a Garden on Roblox is something you might have already achieved without realizing what happened. Wet is a unique status that only pops up in specific circumstances, and those circumstances are entirely out of your control.

Our Grow a Garden wet carrot guide explains how to get such a treasure and what to look out for so you know the right scenario is on the way.

Grow a Garden: How to get wet carrot

Wet is a mutation status that occurs when a crop gets, well, wet, but you can’t confer the mutation on your own. It has to come from nature, which means rain. So, the only way to get a wet carrot is to have it rained on while it’s in the ground.

There’s some confusion among Grow a Garden players about when it needs to rain. Some have said the wet status won’t occur if the carrot or other plant is fully grown when it rains. However, our experience – and what others have said – is that any rain that falls while the carrot is in the ground at any point during its growth cycle, either seed or fully-grown-and-waiting-to-be-picked, will potentially make it count as wet.

“Potentially” is the key here, as the success rate is 50 percent. You might do everything right and not end up with wet crops or only have a few gain the status. Rain makes all crops grow twice as quickly, though, so it’s a win even without a wet carrot. Even if you don’t need additional wet carrots for your venus fly trap, you can still sell them for more than normal carrots as well.

That all sounds simple, but Grow a Garden currently has no way to change or forecast the weather. You’re completely at the mercy of Grow a Garden’s random weather patterns, though you can tell shortly before rain starts, as the sky clouds over. If you see that happen and have some carrots to plant, stick them in the ground quickly.
