Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s Map Left by the Deceased leads you to one of the more convenient treasure troves you can grab early in the RPG. Actually getting this map is more difficult than most, as it’s literally locked behind a high stat requirement. However, if you’re just after the treasure and don’t care about getting the map, you can get it with a bit of exploring.

- Find in the Trosky graveyard chapel
- The treasure is in a little rocky alcove north of the Wagoner’s Inn
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Map Left by the Deceased location
This map is one of the more difficult ones to find, though for reasons you might not initially expect. It’s not guarded, like the Vidlak Bandit’s Map, nor is it tucked away in unexpected places, as the Map of the Zhelejov Marshes is. It’s locked up. The chest is in the Trosky graveyard chapel, on the floor to the right of the entrance.
Being in here doesn’t count as trespassing, so you’re fine to look around. However, the chest is locked, and the lockpicking challenge is classed as “hard.” Check out our guide for how to get lockpicks if you need some extras, and make sure to wait until the grave digger isn’t around so he doesn’t catch you breaking the law.
If you want the goods without the map, you can still find the treasure and leave the map in its high-difficulty chest.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Map Left by the Deceased solution
This treasure map is one of the rare cases in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 where the in-game map actually has a clue for you. The Map Left by the Deceased treasure is northwest of Zhelejob Wagoner’s Inn at a point of interest called Hidden Treasure. At the small bridge north o the inn – not the covered bridge, the one by the Camp by the Road – turn right. Follow the stream a short way until you see a path leading into the rocks.
Follow it up until you crest the hill, and you’ll see the alcove where the treasure is. It’s a straight shot from the time you leave the stream, so there’s little chance of missing it.
There’s a sack with some food, which is not the treasure, and a bigger sack with the actual treasure. It includes:
- Golden cross with garnets
- 3 Saviour Schnapps
- 157 groschen
- 3 silver cups
It’s quite the haul, especially for a trove you can grab early in the game without much risk of danger.
