Lost Sword tier list

0

Lost Sword is the anime role-playing game where action meets romance and fantasy, with a real emphasis on the fantasy part… If you’re wondering which five star units you should be summoning and saving up your Diamonds for, this Lost Sword tier list is here to help.

This Lost Sword tier list is aimed at PVE players who are working their way through the early to mid portions of the game. These tier lists also consist of 5* characters and pets only, to help you identify which banners you should summon from.

Lost Sword character tier list

During Lost Sword’s early-game, you don’t need to worry about your characters, their ranks, and their synergies all that much. You can easily use the game’s recommended team compositions to help get you through the first few chapters of the game while you unlock more characters and Summons for them.

As time goes on, however, you’ll want to begin paying attention to the element-type of your character and their role in battle, whether that’s as a tank, DPS, or healer. Most teams consist of a tank, a frontline DPS, a healer, and two backline DPS, and you’ll eventually want to build teams of specific elements – and make the most of any character synergies – to take down tough bosses.

One great thing to note about Lost Sword is that you can transfer levels between characters as you see fit at the cost of some Gold. So, if one or two of your currently built characters aren’t suitable for the upcoming stage you’re facing, you can transfer their levels to a more appropriate character. Bear this in mind as you progress through the game and boss battles become tougher; as time goes on and progress is made, you’ll need to be a lot more careful about which characters you’re sending off to fight bosses and what elements counter these foes.

This is an early to mid game Lost Sword tier list, detailing the best characters to get you through the early portions of the game and whose banners you should be saving up your Diamonds for. We’ll talk a little about the top characters to choose – and top pets – below.

Tier: Name:
S Lancelot, Tiamat, NEO Bedivere, Galahad, Merlin
A Anessa, Kay, Tristan, Cristina, Joan of Arc, Lisa, Lua, Vivien, Erin, Anessa, Isabel, Isolde, Ran, Enya
B Guinevere, Morgana, Circe, Claire, Percival, Katrin, Ria
C Elizabeth, Summer Merry, Morgause, Lilith, Lucy, Mia, Gawain

At the time of writing, the best Tank characters in Lost Sword are Galahad, Lancelot, and Kay, and you’ll want to place these characters on your frontline. You can also consider the likes of Elizabeth in a pinch, but most other available Tanks in the game will outperform her. You also need to take into careful consideration the synergies between characters.

For example, Galahad provides an attack buff to all wizards and archers, so you ideally want to pair her with Lost Sword’s strongest DPS characters such as Tiamet, Cristina, Lisa, Vivien, or Tristan. On that note, Tristan and Vivien – both Grass-element units – should be paired together where possible, as they both apply the Root debuff.

DPS characters to look out for in Lost Sword are Tiamet, Anessa, Lisa, Ran, Lua, and Vivien. Tiamet reigns superior as one of the strongest characters in the game right now, and is highly versatile in a number of team compositions; just make sure you’ve got strong support characters to keep her healthy and alive.

On top of that, if you’re not running various wizard/archer DPS with Galahad and are focusing on melee units instead, Ran and Lua should ideally be paired together. Both units inflict Shock damage and will benefit from one another, just like Tristan and Vivien’s synergy. Having units of the same element that can scale off on another becomes more important as you advance into Lost Sword’s late game, so always be on the lookout for pairings like this.

Knights aren’t the most popular of characters in Lost Sword right now, but if you’re hoping to run Anessa as DPS in one of your teams, you’ll want to make the most of her ability to Freeze foes. She struggles to do this solo, so you’ll want to team her up with allies also capable of Freezing targets, such as Merlin or Katrin.

As for the best supporting characters in Lost Sword, NEO Bedivere, Guinevere, and Isolde are among the best. NEO Bedivere is a personal favourite, given that she’s an archer (who can therefore benefit from Galahad’s buff to archers and wizards), as well as a very capable healer. She must deal damage to be able to heal her allies, however.

Dedicated healers such as Guinevere and Isolde can also be considered, with Guinevere standing out as one of the only healer units capable of reviving a slain ally. Their downfalls, however, are that their kits don’t provide much else aside from healing and resistance buffs, as opposed to NEO Bedivere whose kit is highly versatile.

Lost Sword pet tier list

You can think of pets in Lost Sword as weapon charms or talismans of some sort. They aren’t dedicated fighters like your characters, but they do deal damage, and will provide a passive effect or ability that your entire team can benefit from.

Tier: Name:
S Cristina, Ran, Phoenix, Tristan, Tiamat, Athena, Bedivere, Merlin, Esteria
A Anessa, Circe, Erin, Summer Merry, NEO Bedivere, Griffin, Joan of Arc, Kay, Lua, Lancelot, Eva, Vivien
B Elizabeth, Morgana, Lisa, Isabel, Guinevere, Katrin, Galahad

The best pets in Lost Sword will typically debuff foes or buff your party, while also dealing damage in some instances. You’ll want to keep an eye on these, as some pets’ passive effects will benefit an entire party, while others benefit specific types of characters or elements.

For example, Esteria inflicts foes with Fear while attacking, which prevents opponents from attacking for two seconds, while Phoenix buffs all allies Critical Hit Rate for 20 seconds at a time. This makes both pets suitable for a wide range of teams, especially during the early-game.

Pets like Ran, for example, can be very powerful, hence being in S-tier, but given that she deals additional damage to foes inflicted with Shock, you want to run her alongside a Shock team rather than just any team. This makes her much more viable for the late game. Other pets that cater to specific ailments include Cristina, who burns foes, Merlin, who freezes foes, and Tristan, who roots foes. These work well with units who also burn/root/freeze foes respectively.

Other S-tier pets to consider are Tiamet, who debuffs enemy defenses while attacking, or Bedivere and Athena, who can dish out huge amounts of damage. The latter two sadly don’t provide any additional buffs or debuffs, however.

B-tier units such as Morgana and Elizabeth etc. are in B-tier largely because they’ll provide buffs to the team, but don’t simultaneously provide any additional damage output.
