Questions and Answers for Beginners

I am on the fence regarding spending or not but lets say I do (like 100$ maybe?). What should I get?

The best investment of real money is buying extra CrateSlots. The rest doesn’t even come close. Just for reference, the first one costs $5, second one $10, third $20, and it’s $50 for the last one. So $85 in total.

The rewards you get with them do scale by your MaxLeague (furthest you’ve ever gotten), so it’s best to wait with the last two a little until you’re a bit further in the game.

Maybe one other deal might be worth it, and it’s the $1 package with a Legendary. Those are only available for accounts that haven’t made any purchases yet, so you might want to wait a little with buying your first CrateSlot until you get one of those.

Next best thing is the BattlePass Premium ($20)

Once again, the rewards scale with your MaxLeague, but this time when your BattlePass started. So they won’t get better if you go to the next League halfway through. So don’t buy the first BattlePass Premium. From the second one on, whenever you feel like you’ll be able to complete the BattlePass, buy it at the very start. I do say at the very start, because once bought, it’ll automatically open ever PremiumCrate that can be unlocked. Buying it at the start makes sure that you can choose and pick what to open when.

About the Legendary Commanders (like Wanda, Alexa, and others)

The Legendary Commanders are available for purchase every once in a while. You don’t get those with real money, but with Emerix.

They are probably the best investment you can get for Emerix, but maybe let’s leave this conversation for later, since all of them cost 4.999 Emerix and that’s a pretty steep price if you’ve just started out.

If I am mostly interested in the lewd part of the game, should I buy gift packs to progress those?

To max out a Relationship, you’re either looking at a year’s worth of playing casual, or about 3-4 months of farming. You could buy the gift packs, but then you’re looking at a $700 investment which is a bit above your $100 limit.

Do I have a chance to complete Regina stuff in time? (I understood there are scenes further down the line in the event or the relationship/red room or whatnot)

Okay so, completing an Event is one of the most difficult things one can do in this game. It is possible without spending extra, but it takes quite a bit of preparation.

Since you can’t prepare for the Newcomers Event (Regina/Billie/Leta), it is considered impossible to complete (unless you pay an awful lot).

If you can reach Chapter 2, you’re already good. Don’t try to push for Chapter 3.

Everything about the Mascots

So, Mascots are basically just a different girl greeting you when you log in. You don’t get any kind of benefit from having one. None of them are free and normally you can only get those who’s related Event is running at that time.

Florence is currently Steam-exclusive, except for the people that got her during the first month of the game. So for non-Steam accounts, there is no way to get her.

Does the in-battle costumes of units change?

The only way to change those is unlocking their UltimateOutfit by reaching Relationship level 20 on that Merc. Quite a long way to go, see previous answer about Relationships.

How long it takes for nude costumes for units?

See Relationships for the Merc (= Mercenary, a normal unit).

For the Commanders, those will reveal a bit more of themselves at level 11, 41, 91 and 121.

What is the reward for maxing out relationships?

You can view those in-game. From the main screen, click on ‘Relationships’ (bottom bar), click on a Merc who’s Relationship is available to you and scroll all the way down. It always comes down to an increase in stats and a new Outfit that unlocks an UltimateSkill.

I joined a random alliance (Iron) should I look for another one? and why I am locked out of Alliance War?

As long as your Alliance is doing decently in the AllianceWar (at least a single square every day) and HeliRace (at least the first couple of Crates every week), you’ll be fine.

You could always look for another one that does better in the related channels though.

Just a word of warning: just like you can’t send Troops right away when you first join an Alliance, there is also a penalty if you change Alliances. That penalty is not being able to send Troops for 6 days. So your call is you’re willing to suffer that penalty or want to stay with your current one.

I saw a random person in chat that has many legendary units and only league 14, is it really that hard to progress? to go further down the leagues?

Not going to lie, the further down the Leagues you do, the harder it gets.

Take maybe one or two days to reach L20, roughly a month to go to L15, and probably half a year to reach L10. That is without paying. If you spend, you can get there a little bit faster, but there’s a limit on that (unless you willing to drop a thousand dollars into this game).

So yeah, once you have a full LegendarySquad, you’re pretty much at the start of the game. What comes next is working on synergy between the ones you put into your Squad, as well as growing them so they have a lot of Reboots and levels under their belt.

Best general tips are basically

Get used to the rhythm of this game. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Sometimes you’ll be in the same spot for a while and the only thing that can get you further will be a major increase in your Power (mainly through Events).

Save up everything you can save up. Pretty often there will be Quests (Daily/Weekly, HeliRace, GlobalEvents and mini-Events) that will ask you to do something. If you can, you’ll get Rewards for that. So wait for those moments to spend resources. Never do something unless you get something for it in return!

Crate Slots

It’ll add up quickly over time! Even if you don’t play that often, you’re getting four different types of resources from each crate. And opening crates day after day, even if it’s only a few times a day, will make a large difference. Also, crate slots ensure that if you get a legendary crate that you’ll have enough crate slots for speeding up crates (event path in 3ME). Overall crate slots are very good to have, and give you more flexibility than if you didn’t have them. Yes you should get the first two ASAP, the sooner you get them the more rewards you’ll get. The last one is almost never worth it, and the third one is basically up to you.

$1 Deal

They’re not always there, but if you find one of a merc you like you should grab it! $1 Deals are not so much about getting a lot of the merc, but enabling you to participate in P2W events like the Wheel of Fortune. Basically $1 events are great if you want to dip your toes into the world of P2W without spending a ton of money.

Battle Pass

Again, it’ll give you a lot of freedom for completing different events. You get a lot of different rewards, and a lot of variety too. So if you have an exo quest or 3ME branching pathway, it’ll be really helpful, to say nothing of the rewards themselves.

Legendary Commanders

Up to you, but yeah I wouldn’t spend directly on gems. You can save up and purchase them without paying anything. It might take a month or two to save up, but be patient. It’s possible!
