Beginner Guide: Alliance Territory Placement

This guide will cover the early to late game strategy for alliance territory and how to better utilize it.
For early game, alliances start at the wilderness area of the map or the outer rim.
From my experience, go to an area that’s not nearby an alliance that has potential to be a top alliance, choose a discreet area that’s close to atleast 2 – 3 labs you can hold reliably.
As shown here, this alliance called RA5H is the farm alliance of RASH, they’ve basically just taken over the labs that are parallel to the labs we have at FFAV and RASH in the wilderness area of the map so they don’t annoy us.
That’s basically it for wilderness up until the plains biome, now for this zone, you’ll now notice “greener spots” on the map.
The darker the green color, the better resources that spawn there where you can gather from, so from being in the wilderness you should move the “Alliance hive” immediately to the plains biome for better resources. Now, most hives place their HQ near the outskirts close to the “border of Oasis and plains” and branch out to take better alliance resources (shown in pic below).
For the Oasis portion of the map, there’s no actual way to place an HQ of an alliance in there, hence why alliances place their “HQ (Plain)” as close as they can to the Oasis border.
Now, Oasis is a REALLY good area for resources, as all areas of the Oasis portion of the map are lvl 8 spawners for resources and have a lot of “grouped together alliance resources” as shown in the picture below.
You don’t necessarily need to move your “alliance hive” to the Oasis area due to the following reasons:
- Too many alliance resource spots, due to the density of the alliance resource spots and gathering areas, you can’t reliably make a good “Hive” there unless you’re in the outskirts of the Oasis portion of the map.
- For some events, such as Mechanized Menace, you would NEED to be near an alliance HQ, now if you’re in the outskirts you can just send reinforcements to it, but it will take around 45 secs – 1 min, so you’ll have to speed it up.
Alright I believe that’s all you need for alliance territory placement, alliance territory placement is crucial as it gives a noticeable difference in gathering speed and defense boosts of your base.
