Midnight Stealth: How to complete Sylus’ first Bond date in Love and Deepspace

0

Bond dates in Love and Deepspace are just about the only date type that doesn’t directly require any interaction with the gacha in order to unlock. Instead, Bond dates only require you to reach a certain Affinity level in order to play them – and in return, you tend to get a few key hints about the heroine’s relationship with the love interest in question, even if the initial set-up often seems fairly low-key.

However, low-key doesn’t really describe Midnight Stealth, Sylus’ first (and so far only) Bond date, which unlocks upon reaching Crush Level 10 with him. Any encounter that involves sneaking heavily armed into someone’s fortress-like criminal manor in order to win a potentially life-or-death wager with them is, let’s be real, on the intense side for a first date.

But Midnight Stealth does provide some pretty significant early context for Sylus’ true feelings towards the heroine, and he also spends the vast majority of his screen time either in the shower or dressed like he just got out of the shower, so all my Sylus mains out there surely won’t want to miss this one.

Bond dates don’t have multiple endings, but there are still a handful of branching paths to follow, and replaying the date to explore them all does bring additional rewards. Read on for a full walkthrough on how to complete Midnight Stealth in Love and Deepspace.

Love and Deepspace: Midnight Stealth walkthrough

Midnight Stealth, like all Bond dates, is a fully-voiced and -animated side-story with occasional interactive elements. There’s also one dialogue choice, meaning you’ll need to play through twice if you want to see everything and claim the rewards for 100% completion.

The date opens with the following interactive steps:

  • Tap dressing gown (talk) x2
  • Tap bedside table (talk)
  • Tap bookcase (talk)
  • Tap Mephisto x2
  • Tap hiding spot (talk)
  • Tap Sylus (talk)
  • Swipe to Eavesdrop
  • Tap Sylus (talk) x2
  • Tap gun (talk)
  • Tap Sylus (talk)
  • Tap gramophone (talk)
  • Tap Luke and Keiran (talk) x3
  • Tap door (talk)
  • Tap gun (talk) x2

Dialogue Branch

At this point you’ve reached the sole branching point of this date, where you’ll be presented with the following dialogue choices:

  1. “Do you hate me?”
  2. “Do you like me?”

Amusingly, no matter what you say, he’ll deny it either way. After a variant line of dialogue the date continues the same on both branches with the following steps:

  • Tap Sylus (talk)
  • Tap Sylus (“Body search”)
  • Tap brooch (talk)

(There’s a possible glitch here, where a loading screen causes the heroine’s next line of dialogue to play twice.)

  • Tap Sylus (talk) x4
  • Tap self (talk)
  • Tap Sylus (talk)

Rewards and 100% completion

Upon completing the date for the first time following either route, you’ll be rewarded with 60 Diamonds, 30K Gold, and the Risky Title Prefix for your profile.

You’ll need to play through the date a second time and choose a different dialogue option to achieve 100% completion. However, you can skip right to the branching point using chapter select after completing the date once.

Completing the date a second time and seeing both branches nets you further rewards: another 50 Diamonds and 25K Gold, as well as the Winner Title Suffix for your profile.
