I’m a gamer, always have been.

Milestone are back as MXGP 2019 revs up on Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Are you ready to prove your worth on the MXGP scene once again? Milestone are back and with MXGP 2019 you’ll not only be able to compete across the 2019 season, but a whole host of new features are being thrown in for good measure.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, MXGP 2019 is the latest in the line of MXGP (and motorbike titles in fact) that the team at Milestone have produced. Known for their love of the two-wheeled scene, if it involves bikes, then Milestone are usually somehow involved, with the likes of RIDE 3 and MXGP Pro behind them though, it’s time to focus the attention on the latest MXGP experience – MXGP 2019.

Priced up at £49.99, MXGP 2019 is certainly a game that commands a high price tag, but when you take into account the opportunities within, it could well be something that a serious MX rider can’t ignore.

For the very first time in the series, MXGP 2019 allows the focus on the current MXGP and MX2 championships, delivering all the riders, bikes and official teams to the masses. All of the races from the 2019 season are here too and so if you live and breath MXGP, this is going to be your best bet yet.

Obviously with such a history behind them, Milestone haven’t just chucked some new names at MXGP 2019, and building on the previous games in the series a Track Editor will let you create your own unique tracks, utilising a number of Motocross modules and environments to bring a whole ton of features to the table. With more coming after launch, if you have an idea and wish the community to see it, MXGP 2019 allows for it.  Further to that, The Playground will let you spin your tyres as you see fit, dropping in checkpoints and creating your own off-road paths. The chance to pick up collectibles, gather up points, and face challenges as you are doing so gives yet another reason to fall into the world of Motocross once more.

Our full review is well underway and will be with you in the days ahead, but for now, if you can’t get enough of what they produce and wish to give Milestone even more of your cash, MXGP 2019 is a good bet. The usual digital stores will sort you out, with the Xbox Store our preferred spot as Xbox One gamers – this will see you given access to MXGP 2019 for £49.99.

Further to that and a couple of DLC packs arrive alongside launch, with the £1.69 Twilight Pack bringing some dark customisation sets into play, with a new helmet, mask, suit, boots and bike liveries. The Ultimate Fury Pack meanwhile will set you back the same asking price, but this time round pushes out two animated sets – one that focuses on a frost theme and another on lightning.
