The Oscars may have wrapped up for this year, but Monopoly Go players are still having the red carpet rolled out for them in Tycoon Awards.
The awards ceremony-themed event offers plenty of freebies that players can claim, including extra dice rolls and the tokens needed for the latest Peg-E event. The tournament launched on Monday 28 April 2025, but it’s only available for a short amount of time, ending on Wednesday 30 April 2025.

How does the Tycoon Awards tournament work?
To play the Tycoon Awards tournament, you need to land on the Railroad tiles on the Monopoly Go board. You’ll get points for the tournament depending on how well you do in a Shutdown or a Bank Heist. The least amount of points are given if you get blocked during a Shutdown, while you’ll get more points for a successful Shutdown. The event also has a multiplier running which awards double the amount of points you’d usually get in a Bank Heist. The most amount of points for a single turn is given when you Bankrupt a player during a Bank Heist.
The more points you get in the tournament, the higher you’ll climb up the leaderboard for the event. Depending on where you’re ranked on the leaderboard when the event finishes, you’ll get different rewards. This is in addition to the freebies you get when you unlock different reward tiers in the event, which we’ll list further down this article.
If you finish the Tycoon Awards tournament in first place, you’ll get a couple of purple sticker packs, 155 million cash and 2,500 dice rolls. Second place offers a couple of purple sticker packs, 1,200 dice rolls and 77.5 million cash, while third place would give you some blue sticker packs, 800 dice and 62 million cash.

The Tycoon Awards tournament has 48 different reward tiers. If players unlock every single one they’ll get over 11,000 dice rolls, along with hundreds of the tokens that are needed to play the latest Peg-E event.
