Monster Hunter Wilds’ next set of Event Quests is here, and we’ll soon get to try and fail at Challenge Quests, too

Just like two weeks ago, Capcom has rolled out the first of several new Event Quests to all Monster Hunter Wilds players. Event Quests are available for a limited time, and they task players with taking down certain monsters to earn unique rewards.

This next set is interesting, however, because we’re also going to see the introduction of Challenge Quests, which arrive with the game’s first major patch – Title Update 1. Here’s what you can look forward to.

As we’ve come to expect, Capcom has published the full schedule of Event and Challenge Quests for this week, next week, and the one after that. Challenge Quests won’t be available this week, as you’ll need to patch your game with TU1 – arriving April 4 – before they unlock. They are part of the second and third week, however.

What we have here is the schedule for the week of March 24, March 31, and April 7. Just like the initial batch, each week’s set of quests will go live on Wednesday of every week, but they will continue to be available for the following weeks, too, meaning you can wait until the last week to tackle all of them.

Here’s the schedule:

Week of March 24

• Like a Fire Hidden by Sand – 4 Stars (HR 9 or higher) – Hunt the Rathian to obtain the Expedition Headgear α.

• Congalala Cravings – 4 Stars (HR 9 or higher) – Hunt the Congalala to obtain Droolshrooms to use as an additional ingredient when cooking.

Week of March 31

• Anguish and Atrocity – 5 Stars (HR 21 or higher) – Hunt the Guardian Doshaguma to farm some Hunter Rank Points.

• [Challenge Quest] Doshaguma of the Hollow – 5 Stars (HR 16 or higher) – Slay the Doshaguma using specific equipment against the clock. Earn an exclusive pendant for your troubles.

Week of April 7

• King of a Faraway Sky – 6 Stars (HR 31 or higher) – Hunt the Tempered Guardian Rathalos to obtain Artian materials.

• When Do Quematrice Sing? – 4 Stars (HR 9 or higher) – Hunt the Quematrice to obtain materials to craft Amstrigian α headgear.

• [Challenge Quest] Doshaguma of the Hollow – 5 Stars (HR 16 or higher) – Slay the Doshaguma using specific equipment against the clock. Earn an exclusive pendant for your troubles.
