Monster Hunter Wilds Pop-Up Camp locations
Monster Hunter Wilds has you exploring a vast map with multiple biomes, all packed to the brim with unique creatures, materials, and of course, monsters. While every biome is home to a Base Camp for you to seek respite and acquire upgrades, you can also construct Pop-Up Camps around the map, and these are ideal for when you need to stop off for a rest while exploring but don’t wish to return to Base Camp just yet.
At a Pop-Up Camp, you can rest, cook meals, change your equipped gear, and do pretty much anything you could do at your Tent in Base Camp. Offload your spare materials and items and prepare yourself for your next quest with our guide to all Pop-Up Camp locations in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Monster Hunter Wilds Pop-Up Camps explained
Pop-Up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds can be found while out exploring the map. The presence of Quatreflies indicates where a Pop Up Camp can be built, though, Alma will often point them out to you as well while travelling.
After discovering a Pop-Up Camp, you can equip your Camping Kit to get it set up. Though, if you choose not to set that Pop-Up Camp up right away, its location will remain marked on your map by a small signpost with a hammer on it. It’ll also become available to construct or deconstruct via the Pop-Up Camp Meowster back at Base Camp.
Pop-Up Camps cost Guild Points to construct, and can be built in areas of varying threat levels. Camps built in Dangerous areas are likely to be attacked by large monsters. These tend to repair themselves slowly over time, but you can visit the Pop-Up Camp Meowster at Base Camp (or beside a destroyed camp) to pay Guild Points to have it repaired.
With this in mind, any Pop-Up Camps constructed in dangerous areas should be swiftly deconstructed when you’re done with that area if you want to save on Guild Points. Camps in safe areas can be left unattended, while camps in Insecure areas are more hit-and-miss, but in my experience, have been safe for the most part.
