Starring Up Mythic Soulaments Guide

By n.agi

There are currently two ways to star up mythic soulaments and both are pretty bad…

Method 1: Duplicate Reforging

Once you get a duplicate of a mythic soulament you can reforge it to gain a seal of the same class and you can use those seals to guarantee a star up on a mythic soulament.

The seal requirements are as followed:

  • Star 1 -> 2: 1 seal
  • Star 2 -> 3: 2 seals
  • Star 3 -> 4: 12 seals
  • Star 4 -> 5: 48 seals
  • Star 5 -> 1 red star (6 star): 128 seals

You can instantly see the issue here, requiring 196 duplicates to max out one piece is horrible.

Method 2: Rank Up Luck

Method 2 is better than Method 1 purely because of the material requirement, however it requires an insane amount of luck and demon lord levels.

The cost for ranking up gradually scales up past 5 needed, here are the requirements:

  • Rank 4 -> 5: 2 legendary fodder
  • Rank 5 -> 6: 2 legendary fodder
  • Rank 6 -> 7: 3 legendary fodder
  • Rank 7 -> 8: 4 legendary fodder
  • Rank 8 -> 9 and 9 -> 10: 5 legendary fodder
  • Rank 10 -> 11: 6 legendary fodder

At base, you have a 5% chance to gain a star whenever you rank your soulament up. this can be increased to 16% if your piece comes with base 11 luck or you apply a luck booster to it. Natural 3* soulaments come with 20 luck you cannot stack luck boosters or apply a luck booster to any soulaments that already have luck.

Soulament rank up is maxed at rank 13, with every 5 Demon Lord Level unlocking a rank until 145; with that being said assuming a best case scenario where:

  • You can max at 13.
  • Your Mythic Soulament is only rank 4.
  • Your Mythic Soulament has 11 luck.

You would have 9 chances to gain 5 stars via rankup at a 16% chance, meaning your cumulative probability would total up to a huge 0.749%

Granted, there is a chance for 2 star or higher mythic soulaments to drop but it’s even rarer. Combining the two methods would grant the optimal strategy of getting a 5 star or more piece:

Requirements:

  • A Rank 4 mythic soulament.
  • Preferably a 3* base soulament (which you can acquire via the soulaments gem mall or very rarely as a drop) as they start with 20 luck
    • or a base 1 star mythic soulament with 3 seals.
  • A luck booster or have the mythic soulament rolled with luck already.
  • Demon Lord Level 145.

Process:

  • Star up the mythic soulament to 3 star via seals.
  • Apply the luck booster if the mythic soulament does not already have luck.
  • Rank up 9 times and pray for 5 star or higher.

With this process, your chance of getting to 5 stars via soulament rank up with 11 luck would go up to a cumulative probability of 43.49%, the chance of getting 6 stars with 11 luck would be 16.29%, the chance of getting 5 stars with 20 luck would be 69.96%, and the chance of getting 6 stars with 20 luck would be 39.93%

  • If you fail to gain 5 stars or more at max rank, reforge the mythic soulament to have the seals used to get to 3 star and the legendary soulaments used to rank up refunded, but this will turn the mythic soulament into a seal.
    • This means that if your mythic soulament was 2 star at base, it will only refund 2 seals, instead of 3.
  • Your luck booster will not be refunded!

Additional Notes:

  • If you already own ranked up mythic soulaments you cannot reset rank only and instead must reforge them into seals, all legendary soulaments used to rank up will be refunded, as will the exp.
  • It is highly recommended to invest 57k into buying out the 3* soulaments from gem mall.
