In the coming weeks, as Blizzard Entertainment announced, Overwatch 2 will be subjected to additional internal tests. However, it shouldn’t be possible to expect another beta before Early Access beginning in October.

With Overwatch 2, the latest online multiplayer shooter from Blizzard Entertainment will start early in the fall a year later and replace its predecessor completely.

About two months before the start of Early Access, the developer at Blizzard Entertainment renewed their plans and noted that Overwatch 2 will be subjected to further internal tests in the coming weeks and further developed by the results.

However, as Jon Spector, vice-chairman of Overwatch and Diablo, explained via Twitter, no further beta is being planned. Even seasoned players will be able to play the latest version of Overwatch 2 with the start of Early Access.

For starters, gaming is the best experience.

Now’s just two months away from Overwatch 2 release! We know players are excited to dive in and have been looking for questions about the possibility of a third public beta. Although we continue to test OW2 internally every day, we don’t plan to test on further public beta tests.

In the future of his statement, Blizzard said that the responsible developers behind Overwatch 2 analyzed the beta feedback in detail. In addition to providing the best gaming experience, it’s promised that improvements will be made over user feedback.
