Phantom Blade Zero clocks up over 1 million wishlists in just 2 weeks
Chinese action game Phantom Blade Zero has amassed over a million wishlists in the two weeks since its September 2026 release date was confirmed.
The dev team thanked everyone for “the overwhelming support”, and wished players happy new year.
“1 MILLION WISHLISTS!” developer S-GAME announced on Twitter/X yesterday. “In just 15 days since opening on Dec 12, #PhantomBladeZero has hit 1,000,000+ wishlists.
“From everyone on the dev team, thank you for the overwhelming support. Wishing you all a Happy New Year!”
That release date has been eagerly anticipated. The game was first revealed back in 2023 at a Sony showcase, but since then, details have come in drips and drabs, with a new Year of the Snake trailer shown at the start of this year.
As for how it plays? Ed went hands-on at Gamescom in 2024 and loved its fast and stylish combat, stressing that no, it is not a Soulslike.
