Predecessor – Sevarog Build Guide
Guide to Sevarog Build
By ArcaneForest
Active Item
Razorback
The best tank item, amplifying armor by 25% and reflecting 15% of pre-mitigated damage back to the enemy. Ideal for diving to allow the backline to engage.
Saphyr’s Mantle
A poor choice due to bonus health, which makes it easier for enemies to deal bonus health-based damage.
Nyr Warboots
Worthless—avoid building.
Passive Items
- Fire Blossom: Decent for sustained damage but only worth building first; otherwise, skip it.
- Tainted Guard: Extremely powerful, applying a 3-second bleed, blight, and scaling with Physical Armor. Deals 60+/3s damage—essential in any Tank build.
- Crystaline Cuirass: A must-have, often built second. Without it, soft CC will likely kill you.
- Warden’s Faith: Essential for reducing ADC and Assassin damage.
- Stonewall: Provides scaling damage mitigation, exceeding 50% in some cases.
- Hexbound Bracers: Effective against Skylar and Twinblast; pair with Giant’s Ring.
- Frost Guard: The best item in the game, offering split defense, no bonus health, and an attack speed debuff—useful against any hero.
- Giant’s Ring: Decent for most heroes but not great for Sevarog.
Honorable Mentions
- Fist of Rizz: Weak due to too much health, lack of armor, and a mediocre passive.
- Elafrost: Better tank options exist.
- Raiments of Renewal: Completely useless—never build it.
Level Progression
Max Siphon first for poke and reliable stack building. Follow with Subjugate to root enemies, securing kills or locking them in fights. If frequently ganked, prioritize Phantom Rush second for better escapes. Use your ultimate to throw enemies into walls for fireblossom damage, at towers, or allies. It can also serve as an escape tool.
