Insomniac Games‘ upcoming Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will allow players to slow down gameplay in order to make things a bit easier when required, and the best thing is it won’t have any impact on Trophies.
The question about accessibility in the game was raised by Twitter user Steven Saylor, which prompted a response from Greg Miller, confirming players will be able to use the D-pad to slow down time if necessary.
As mentioned this doesn’t affect Trophies at all, so you can freely make things a bit easier for yourself when in trouble and still progress towards that shiny Platinum. Speaking of which, it’s possible to obtain the Platinum in a single playthrough.
