According to the news, until 15 people they have lost their job. The best known names have been the production associate, Seraphina Brennan, and the Community Manager, Joe Brogno. Trion has expressed the pleasure and great work that both have done in the company and hopes that another company will give them work.
CEO Scott Hartsman took to MMOGames to confirm and discuss the layoffs:
“We have had to make the difficult decision to eliminate 15 positions from the company. We are very grateful to all those who have been affected and we recognize their great work and contribution to Trion Worlds, and we will offer each of them help and assistance in finding a new job. These dismissals have not been due to poor performance of the workers, or that of the company, but they have been necessary to allow us to develop the new projects that we have in hand in the best possible way.”
