Umamusume: Pretty Derby – How to Win Your 1st Ura Finale
Ura Finale: Easy Win
Ву PLACIDO.
What Sakura Bakushin O Does Best
Sakura Bakushin O is a character who’s really good at short races, also called sprints.

How to Play Her
The main idea is to focus only on her speed. You want to make her speed as high as possible so she can win sprint races. The goal is to win the big UA (URA) Finals just by making her stats super high through speed training. You don’t need to worry too much about complex game stuff or fancy card combos.
Setting Up and Training
What Cards to Use
Pick support cards that boost speed. You’ll see a blue shoe icon on them.

A good setup is:
- Two Speed cards
- Two Stamina cards (these have a pink heart icon)
You can also use the filter to find cards that help with a “front runner” strategy.
How to Train
Just keep doing speed training. Don’t train her in other areas like stamina or power. This keeps it simple and effective.
If Sakura gets tired (you’ll see a bar at the top), you should let her rest.
There are two ways to rest: a basic rest or a study session.
If there’s an infirmary option, use it to heal her. This helps her keep training without breaks.
Mood and Events
If Sakura is in a bad mood, take her on a date. This makes her happy again and helps her train better. Also, be ready for the Summer Event in July and August. Training during summer gives bigger stat boosts. So, try to rest her in late June to have full energy for the summer.
Races and How to Win

Race Types
Most of her races are sprints. Some might be a bit longer, called mile races. The distance will be shown next to the meters, like 1200m [Sprint] or 1600m [Mile]. Skills that are good for sprints might not work as well in mile races, so keep that in mind.
Race Strategy
When a race starts, set Sakura to use the Front Runner strategy.
Focus on getting skills that:
- Work when she’s a Front Runner.
- Are good for any race distance or match the current race type.
Sometimes, training events with an exclamation point will let you learn new skills. Pick the ones that give speed or wisdom skills. Don’t focus too much on these early on; make sure her stats are still growing.
Keeping Track of Progress
Keep training her until the next required race. Check the top left corner of the screen to see how many turns are left until the next check. For some checks, you need a certain number of fans. Plan ahead and do extra races to get enough fans.
