Where to find Aqua Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds

If you’re hoping to forge any of the Balahara-themed weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds, you’re going to be in need of Aqua Sacs. These monster organs, which preserve water and ultimately power weapons, are a random drop from specific monsters around the map.

While Aqua Sacs aren’t a guaranteed drop from any monster – and are only guaranteed from a few limited, specific quests – there are some ways in which you can attempt to farm them. To help you out with that, and being as efficient as possible with your time, here’s where to find Aqua Sacs in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Where to find Aqua Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds

Aqua Sacs have a chance of being acquired from Low Rank Uth Duna and Low Rank Balahara in Monster Hunter Wilds. Uth Duna is found in Scarlet Forest, while Balahara is often found in Windward Plains.

As previously mentioned, it is not guaranteed that you will get an Aqua Sac upon successfully hunting or capturing either of these monsters. As is the case with most monster materials, you may need to hunt them multiple times before getting an Aqua Sac.

On top of that, it is important to note that High Rank Balahara and High Rank Uth Duna do not drop Aqua Sacs; they instead drop Torrent Sacs. If you’re well on your way with High Rank quests in Wilds, this might mean that a Low Rank version of either monster is hard to come by.

If this is you, I recommend taking part in SOS Flare Quests. These allow you to search for a Hunter who is currently fighting a Low Rank Uth Duna or Low Rank Balahara, and lets you join them for the ride (and the materials, of course). To do this, open Alma’s Quest Menu and select SOS Flare Quests from the bottom of the list.

Then set your desired difficulty to Low Rank, and set your target to either Uth Duna or Balahara. Search, select another player’s quest to join, and off you go! You can rinse and repeat this as many times as needed until you get enough Aqua Sacs.
