Where to find Firestones in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds has a variety of special crafting materials that players will have to hunt down in their weapon and armour building journey. Firestones are one of the first you’ll need to track down, but the trick is, the game doesn’t exactly point you to a hoard of Fire Stones. As such, where to find Fire Stones in Monster Hunter Wilds is a question you might have.

This guide will take you through where to find Firestones in Monster Hunter Wilds, and will provide a nice short guide for farming them if you need a few of them quickly.

Where to find Firestones in Monster Hunter Wilds

Firestones can be found in any Mining Outcrops in the Oilwell Basin region. They are a relatively rare drop from each node, so you’ll probably have to search through more than one to get one. You can identify Mining Outcrops by the dark blue colour they have on the map.

Firestones share a drop table with several other mining resources, including Malachite Ore, and Dragonite Ore on low rank. If you’re on a high rank hunt, you’ll also have a chance of getting Light Crystals and Firecell Stones! It is technically easier to get them in low rank, so you may want to start up a low rank hunt first before going out and gathering them.

If you’re looking for a good farming route, it’s kinda hard as you’ll only be able to get Firestones from one area. But even so, if you start from zone 6 and head to zone 4, then quickly ride to zone 11, then end the route by passing through zone 16, and come to a stop at zone 13. You should be able to harvest a few within a matter of minutes. These will then respawn in 15 minutes time, or when you reset the map.
