Where to find Monster Broth in Monster Hunter Wilds
The most keen of Hunters will want to grind for High Rank armor and powerful, upgraded weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds. After all, better armor and weapons means quicker, more efficient hunts of High Rank monsters, which means more materials, Hunter Rank experience, and better gear. Rinse and repeat! On that note, one of the many materials you’ll no doubt be in need of sooner or later is Monster Broth.
Similar to Monster Fluid, Monster Broth is one of many materials that comes from hunting High Rank monsters. To help you find it in no time at all, here’s where to find Monster Broth in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Where to find Monster Broth in Monster Hunter Wilds
Monster Broth is dropped by multiple monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds, which likely comes as no surprise given the material’s name. That said, it is only dropped by High Rank creatures across the world, so you’ll need to have gained access to High Rank materials and quests before you can farm it.
Once you’re ready, Monster Broth has a chance of being dropped by the following monsters:
- High Rank Bulaqchi
- High Rank Lala Barina
- High Rank Nerscylla Hatchling
- High Rank Comaqchi
- High Rank Vespoid
You can also check what materials a monster may drop — and the chances of it dropping a specific item — by looking at their entry in your Field Guide. Though, information about the creature will only appear once you’ve successfully hunted or captured it.
While Monster Broth is dropped by multiple monsters, the most efficient way of farming it in abundance is by slaying Nerscylla Hatchlings in the Iceshard Cliffs biome. As you can see on the below map, these Small Monsters gather in large groups, can be quickly slain, and — provided they’re High Rank — will always and only drop Monster Broth.

All you need to do is attack the Hatchlings until they’re dead, and then carve their carcasses one by one afterwards. Farming Low Rank Nerscylla Hatchlings is also one of the most efficient ways of farming Monster Fluid too!
It’s also worth noting that when farming Nerscylla Hatchlings, there is — more often than not — a Nerscylla not too far away. Bear this in mind and prepare accordingly beforehand, as you don’t know who or what may interrupt your mission to farm Monster Broth.
