Throughout your exploration of the scenic land of Shu in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, it’s likely that you’ll run into mysterious, small yellow creatures known as Bamboozlings. These little guys drop Bamboo Shoots when you attack them, and while they might seem like a middling collectible to begin with, they do serve a purpose!

Between Lightzen Temple and Shu Sanctum, there’s a lone Panda to be found in a cave that’ll help you put those Bamboo Shoots to good use. To help you with that, here’s where to use Bamboo Shoots in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers.

Bamboo Shoots can be spent at the Panda Shop in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, which is found a short walk from the Lightzen Temple, in the Narrow Stretch area of the Land of Shu.

To get there, travel to the Lightzen Temple Shrine. From there, U-turn and go through the gate up ahead, which you should’ve opened earlier using the Lightzen Key from the Man-eater Dhutanga boss fight.

Through the gate, head right down the path and cross the river. Up ahead, instead of going up the stairs, go right past the hut, and run past the next set of stairs. You’ll come to a third set of stairs with a bridge on your right. Go up the stairs and a Bamboozling will appear just up ahead (if you haven’t already been here); follow it, and try to kill it if you can. It will give you a Bamboo Shoot!

To the left of where the Bamboozling disappears, you’ll find a cave entrance.

Inside the cave, you’ll see the adorable Panda sitting by a fire (shown below). Speak to him, and you’ll be able to purchase items from him – such as the Steam-Powered Spear and Divine Ward Spell – in exchange for Bamboo Shoots.

Make sure to check back at the Panda Shop semi-regularly, as his stock can expand. Now, how do we get more Bamboo Shoots to spend?

You’ll have a very small window to quickly attack them, and if you do so in time, you’ll acquire a Bamboo Shoot from them.
