WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers White Jade Dumpling location

0

The White Jade Dumpling is a valuable item that you’ll have no doubt heard some NPCs rumbling about in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, but where exactly can you get this item, and what should you do with it?

At the time of writing, there are two known enemies that drop the White Jade Dumpling upon defeat, and each time, you’ll want to go and give the elusive item to a specific NPC in the land of Shu. To ensure you don’t miss out and help you do exactly that, here are all White Jade Dumpling locations in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, and what you should do with them.

First things first, let’s talk about what the White Jade Dumpling actually is in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. While it serves as an important item for progressing the quests of some characters, it is also a consumable that you can use to fully restore your HP.

We do not recommend consuming it, however, as you’ll want to save this rare consumable for completing some side quests, and there are plenty of other, less valuable consumables that can heal you.

With that out of the way, here’s where to get your hands on White Jade Dumplings and who to give them to.

White Jade Dumpling location #1

At the very beginning of WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, you will meet Qiao Lin at the Reverent Temple. He’ll hand over the Peachwood Amulet, and request that you take it to his mother in town.

If you then continue to progress the game until you reach Shu Sanctum, you’ll find Qiao Lin’s mother, Qiao Ying, on the second floor of the building. Give her the Peachwood Amulet (pictured below), and she’ll give you a Divine Gift, before then talking about how she’s heard of the White Jade Dumpling being a cure-all and that she wishes to try it.

You heard the old lady… it’s time to get her a White Jade Dumpling, but where?

The first White Jade Dumpling is dropped by optional boss, Gluttonous Monstrosity Lu Hongliu, in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. This particular boss is at the end of the villages that surround Shu Sanctum, and if you happen to have unlocked the tree shortcut on the second floor of the Sanctum, Lu Hongliu is just a short walk away.

After you cross the tree shortcut, go up the hill on your left, and you’ll soon see some bloody stairs on your right. Lu Hongliu is atop these stairs.

Once you manage to defeat Lu Hongliu and receive a White Jade Dumpling, return to Qiao Ying on the second floor of Shu Sanctum and give it to her. She’ll give you three Divination Crescents and a Faint Red Feather as a reward.

This isn’t all there is for White Jade Dumplings in WUCHANG, however.

White Jade Dumpling location #2

Once you reach the region of Cloudspire in WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, there is a second White Jade Dumpling to seek out and give to Qiao Ying again.

First things first, you must have given Qiao Ying the White Jade Dumpling from Lu Hongliu before this point, and you will also want to make sure you have a Steamed Bunny Bun in your inventory. Once you do, make your way to the Cloudspire Outskirts Shrine.

This particular Shrine is found towards the ‘end’ of the area, so to speak, so you may need to keep exploring if you’re yet to reach it.

From the Cloudspire Outskirts Shrine, turn around to face away from it. You should see a wooden archway just up ahead with two houses either side of it. You want to run through the leftmost house (pictured above), and as you emerge on the other side of the house, another house is directly ahead.

Go inside this house and upstairs to find Qiao Ying, who’ll request a Steamed Bunny Bun. Give her one and then remember her location, as we’ll need to pay her a visit again shortly.

To actually get your hands on the second White Jade Dumpling for Qiao Ying, you need to defeat General of the North Al Nengqi, who is found near the Rebel Camp in Cloudspire.

Travel to the Rebel Camp Shrine, and kill the guard beside the Shrine if you haven’t already, as he drops the Rebel Camp Key. Then, while facing the Shrine, go down the ladder and go down the hill (pictured above). Al Nengqi’s arena is on your left at the bottom of this hill, and requires the Rebel Camp Key to enter.

Nian Suichang will also be outside of the arena and available to summon, if you’ve kept up with his quest so far.

To get the White Jade Dumpling, you must defeat Al Nengqi, who isn’t too troublesome (especially if you’ve Nian to take aggro for you). Once felled, the Dumpling is all yours, and you can now return back to Qiao Ying at Cloudspire Outskirts.

Hand over the White Jade Dumpling to her, and that’s it for Qiao Ying’s quest for now!
