How do I get weapon/armor refining parts?
By doing daily quests after beating the story once (After the Rathalos at chapter 13).

How do I get first aid meds?
For beginners, the Guilde is forgiving and will give you free resupplies of first aid meds till rank 11. After that, as you became a real hunter, the guild will only send you 5 first aid meds per day at 5AM (local time) in your daily supplies, along with 3 blue paintballs for your Palico. These Meds have the same effects as the potions you can find in the shop, and are used before your potions.
When do daily quests reset?
12AM (midnight) in your local time.
Can I play with my friends?
Definitely! In order to play with someone else, you must be on a 200m radius close to them, and tap the “Hunt Together” button. Doing this will send an invite to all players in your surroundings.
How does the monster/biomes/gathering points respawn work?
- Big monster respawn every hours starting at 12AM UTC.
- Biome swap every day at 12AM UTC.
- Big gathering take 3 hour to refresh since the last time gathered.
- Small gathering point take 15 minutes to refresh since the last time gathered.
How does hunt grade work?
After every hunt, you get a rank based on, and only on, your time spent in hunt.
- [0 to 19s]: A Rank
- [20 to 39s]: B Rank
- More than 40s: C Rank
Note that your grade DOES NOT affect your loot.
How can my health regen faster?
You get around 1%HP per 36 seconds. HP regen is the same regardless of how much max HP you have, which means 100hp and 150hp both take about 17’30” to get back to 30% and about 1 hour to 100% health. There is no way to make it faster.
How do I use paintballs with my friends?
Once you or your palico tagged a monster with a paintball, you can invite your friends thanks to the QR code provided in the hunt lobby. Please do note that you still need to be physically close to your friends, as simply sharing the QR code to someone faraway won’t work.

Tips and Tricks for Beginners
- On Low Graphics, the game menus are capped to 25fps~, change the Settings to Mid, you will have a better game experience.
- Both Paintballs and Potions are really limited, don’t waste them early, use the Palico Ones and the First-Aids.
- You can actually Zoom Out on combat, before starting the hunt hold and strech the screen.
- On settings, make sure to “Download Assets” or either you will be downloading slowly in middle of the game.
- If you’re gonna use different weapons (Sns and GS for example) never craft two of the same tree.
- When playing Melee weapons, make sure to craft and overgrade Kulu Helm to get “Lock on” Skill, this is game changing.
- Taking advantage of a monster’s elemental weakness is usually the best way to deal damage, so choose weapons with.
- SnS is the best weapon to progress without paying a lot of attention to the game, but please be careful out there!
- To unlock special skill you’ll need to overgrade your weapons to grade 2.
- You’re fully invincible during the weapon SP skill, also you can extend the timer a bit if you use SP right at the end!
- Careful progressing too fast, this means a bigger pool of monsters and stars * which can led to not finding what you need!
