It’s hard to talk about Grow a Garden’s Chubby Chipmunk event – alternatively called the Nutty Fever event by players, after the unique weather status that can be triggered by participating – because honestly it’s already walking close to the wire in terms of key phrases we can riff on for comedic effect without either just repeating the joke or getting put on some kind of search engine blocklist. It’s the Chubby Chipmunk event, where you get Nutty Fever; what the heck else can we say about that, really?
As the official name already strongly hints, you can expect to adopt some adorable Chipmunks as limited-edition pets over the course of this event, as well as some other cuddly rodents such as the Hyrax, Chinchilla, and a new type of Squirrel. Grow a Garden Chubby Chipmunk Event pets
There are six new pets to collect from the Chubby Chipmunk / Nutty Fever event in Grow a Garden, although unusually there is no new pet egg introduced in the update. In fact, obtaining the base Chubby Chipmunk pet is the entry requirement to participating in the rest of the event, and so is just about as easy and straightforward as can be.
The remaining five pets are available as rewards, which are awarded when Chubby Chipmunk reaches a certain weight. See below for unlock conditions and drop rates.
