How to trade stickers in Monopoly Go

If you’re new to Monopoly Go and struggling to complete one of the game’s Sticker Albums, you may be wondering how do you trade stickers?

The app lets you send stickers to your in-game friends and exchange them, which can come in handy if you’re agonisingly close to completing an album or a set and just need a couple more to complete it.

To help you out, we’ve put together this guide on how to trade stickers in Monopoly Go which will run through everything you need to know.

How to trade and send stickers in Monopoly Go

To trade stickers in Monopoly Go, you need to have at least one in-game friend and one duplicate sticker. Duplicate stickers are marked with a “+1” badge in the ‘Album’ section.

Here’s a step-by-step guide for trading and sending stickers in Monopoly Go:

  1. Launch Monopoly Go on your device.
  2. Select the ‘Album’ button at the bottom of your screen.

  3. An arrow pointing at the album button which players need to press if they want to trade stickers in Monopoly Go.

  6. Tap on a sticker marked “+1” and then choose ‘send to friend’.

  7. An arrow pointing at the send to friend button which appears on a duplicate sticker in Monopoly Go. Players have to press this button if they want to start the process of trading it with a friend and sending it to them.

  12. Press the ‘exchange!’ button to confirm you’d like to send the sticker.

Once you’ve sent a sticker, a notification will pop up letting you know your in-game friend will see they’ve received a sticker the next time they log in. Unfortunately, you can’t request a specific sticker to trade when you send it. But there is an official Monopoly Go Trading group on Facebook which will help you get the specific stickers you’re after.

If you just want to be generous and send a sticker instead of trading it, make sure you don’t toggle the button next to ‘make an exchange’ before sending it. You can only send five stickers each day, and if you want to trade a golden sticker you have to wait for a Golden Blitz event.
