TBH: Task Bar Hero – Priest DPS Build Guide

Priest DPS Build (After Nerf)

This build is designed around keeping Wrath of Heaven active continuously while maximizing Lightning damage and survivability. Although the Priest’s damage was significantly reduced after the nerf (from roughly 420k to 70k per Lightning hit), the build remains effective, especially in a full team.

Endgame Build (Arcane Gear & Below)

The most important requirement is maintaining 100% uptime on Wrath of Heaven. This is achieved through cooldown reduction and proper decorations/engravings.

Weapons

Prioritize:

  • 4–6× Lightning Damage % (Decoration or Engraving)
  • Minimum: Topaz / Bat Wing
  • Better options are recommended when available.
  • 1–2× Cooldown Reduction %
  • Minimum: Basilisk Scale

Armor

Recommended priorities:

  • 2–6× Chaos Resistance
  • Minimum: Emerald / Skull
  • 1× Max HP (30%)
  • Minimum: Void Opal
  • Damage Reduction
  • Minimum: Pearl / Basilisk Scale

Aim to reach:

  • 75% Damage Reduction
  • 75% Elemental Resistance

Maxing Damage Reduction is difficult but has the greatest impact on survivability.

Accessories

Choose one of the following depending on your goal:

Option 1 – Max HP (Recommended for progression)

  • 8–12× Max HP
  • Minimum: Turquoise / Happy Feather

Use this setup for difficult content such as the highest Torment stages.

Option 2 – Movement Speed (Recommended for farming)

  • 8–12× Movement Speed
  • Minimum: Lapis Lazuli / Basilisk Scale

Recommended for efficient farming, including:

Accessory Base Stats

Accessory base stats are relatively weak, so use Legendary quality or higher whenever possible.

For bracelets, prioritize the one with the highest Damage Reduction.

Full Team Adjustment

When playing with a full party:

  • Use Knight Boots instead of Dimensional Boots.
  • Do not use Movement Speed decorations.

Survivability

With approximately:

  • 3,000 Max HP
  • 75% Damage Reduction
  • 75% Elemental Resistance

the Priest can survive around 7 average enemy hits before dying.

Because multiple Element Priests can continuously heal while enemies are eliminated quickly, this setup is capable of comfortably tanking content such as 3-9 Torment, where bosses attack slowly enough for healing to keep up.

Midgame Build (Level 40–50 Gear)

This version is intended for players preparing for endgame.

It is designed primarily for full team play and should reliably clear 3-9 Hell. Solo progression is generally not recommended with this setup.

Weapons

Prioritize:

  • 4–6× Lightning Damage %
  • Minimum: Topaz / Bat Wing
  • 1–2× Cooldown Reduction %
  • Minimum: Basilisk Scale

Armor

Recommended:

  • 2–4× Chaos Resistance
  • Minimum: Emerald / Skull
  • 1–3× Max HP (50%)
  • Minimum: Amethyst
  • Damage Reduction
  • Minimum: Pearl / Basilisk Scale

Target approximately:

Damage Reduction remains the highest priority stat.

Accessories

Use:

  • 8–12× Max HP
  • Minimum: Turquoise / Happy Feather

Recommended Defensive Stats for 3-9 Hell

With approximately:

  • 1,500 Max HP
  • 50% Damage Reduction
  • 150 Damage Absorption
  • 75% resistance to all elements
  • 50% Chaos Resistance

you should take very little damage in 3-9 Hell.

Notes

  • A Ranger DPS build is generally cheaper and stronger during midgame progression.
  • This Priest build is mainly for players who enjoy the class or are preparing for the endgame version.
  • Future game updates may require small adjustments to equipment, decorations, or engravings.
