Valley Reboot is an early-game quest in Arknights Endfield where the Endministrator needs to restore power to the Protocol Resonance Tower in the Hub area of Valley IV so that they can start to build useful structures.
While Arknights Endfield isn’t unique as a huge open-world gacha RPG, it does some really interesting things with base-building and resource management, allowing you to build factories which turn raw materials into rare resources automatically.
However, these processes require power and the Valley Reboot quest itself is a little underexplained. To get the lights back on and your quest moving forward, here’s how to transmit power to the Protocol Resonance Tower in Arknights Endfield.
How to transmit power to the Protocol Resonance Tower
First, follow the tutorial to place the first relay tower within the factory zone.
Next, you need to interact with the tower and drag the cable to the marked quest location.
However, this can be the first point of confusion as the cable doesn’t reach. Rather than using the path, run as the crow flies in a straight line from the first relay tower to the marked location, over the edge of the hill, and the cable will be long enough.
You can then place the next tower at the highlighted marker.
Next, you can drag another cable from this second relay to the nearly electric-powered switches to get extra items if you fancy a diversion. But to continue the quest you need to drag a power cable from this second tower to the main Protocol Resonance Tower.
But, this is the bit I didn’t get and you might not either, to get the power all the way back to the Resonance Tower you need to place another relay tower of your own between the second relay and the Resonance Tower, otherwise the cable won’t reach.
To do this without a highlighted marker, press Tab to open the construction hotbar and place another relay between your second one and the Resonance Tower. Hook it up with the cable, then you’ll be able to reach all the way to the goal.
