Bite By Night Tier List
As you build up Scrap in Bite By Night, you’ll no doubt start wondering what to spend all of your rust-infused wealth on. As you’d expect from a combination of Five Nights At Freddy’s and Dead By Daylight brought to life in Roblox, there’s plenty of fan-favourite Killers to splash your cash on and Survivor roles to try out, and it’s a good idea to know your Ennards from your Springtraps before you start accumulating a roster.
I’ll personally be holding back all my Scrap for the second they release a legally distinct version of Balloon Boy onto the game, who I assume must be OP, because every time I heard his little goblin giggle fill my ears in FNAF 2, I knew I was about to meet my maker in the form of a very energetic pirate fox. But if you don’t want to wait as long as me, there are already some really strong candidates to add to your roster.
If you want to know which Killers to focus your Scrap on, and which Survivor roles to get early, we’ve assembled our Bite By Night Killer Tier List and Bite By Night Survivor Tier List below.
In this guide:
Bite By Night Tier Lists
As the game is split into two halves depending on whether you’re playing the Killer or the Survivor, I figured it’s much easier to split our personal recommendations into two different lists. Remember, this is just in our humble opinion. You may find that you’re actually cracked at playing Customer when you’re Survivor, and if so, good on you! No one makes scranning pizza and fleeing for their life look so damn slick.
Feel free to tell us in the comments if you think there’s a way to dominate in the roles we don’t love so far. I’ll take any help I can get to make sure I don’t get my head munched on by the Mimic’s steel jaw. Here’s how we think the current rosters shake out:

Bite By Night Killers ranked
Now you’ve seen our ranking, let’s take a closer look at all the killers, their strengths, their weaknesses, their stats, and why we’ve placed them where we have. At the time of writing, there are currently three killers in Bite By Night.
S Rank
Ennard (The Doppelganger)
| Cost | 6,000 Scrap |
| Health | 2,500 |
| Speed | 12 |
| Run Speed | 22 |
| Stamina | 70 |
Ennard is an absolute menace if you can figure out how to play them efficiently, mainly because of their ability to clone the skin of their deceased victims. Using their Skin Stealer ability, you can eject a player you’ve killed and use their appearance to deceive other players, and it absolutely works given the nature of a random Roblox lobby. After all, if you run into six identical Gokus every game, it’s hard to really tell if the one you watched get axed is amongst the pack.
While disguised, you also move faster than other players, which lets you catch up to them while they’re unaware and really start packing in the damage. Ennard also has a ton of health, hits hard, and can catch foes from across the map with their Grab ability, stopping victims from fleeing. And on top of all of this, they can set traps using their Wire Eyes ability, which lets them spawn robot slugs that, while admittedly slow, can jump on players, preventing them from fleeing until they’re shaken off.
As it stands, Ennard is arguably the most deadly foe you’ll come across. They can chase, pressure and use stealth to deal big damage, plus they’re relatively easy to get a grasp on. If you’ve got the cash, they’re the ideal pick.
A Rank
Mimic (The Project)
| Cost | 4,500 Scrap |
| Health | 3,000 |
| Speed | 12 |
| Run Speed | 22 |
| Stamina | 65 |
To be completely fair to my beautiful steel boy, the Mimic could very well belong in S-tier. He’s the most versatile killer in the entire game, and while he’s certainly a jack of all trades, he’s damn good at all of them. The problem with the Mimic is that he takes a lot of micro-managing to play. In the hands of someone who’s locked down his skillset, he’s a monster, largely because of his Mode Switch ability, which lets you cycle between Strength, Speed and Stealth modes, each of which changes his stats.
In Damage mode, he deals out absolute mammoth melee attacks capable of ending a player in two to three shots. Speed increases how fast he can chase, catching up to players quickly. And Stealth makes his footsteps silent, so he’s incredibly difficult to monitor. Really, he’s a bit of a swiss army knife, but the issue is, you have to keep toggling. Knowing how to switch between Damage, Speed or Stealth efficiently in order to get the drop on your foes makes him a tough Killer to get a lock on, and he’s hard to recommend out of the gate.
That being said, in the hands of a player who’s wrapped their head around his moves, the Mimic is sensationally powerful, letting you switch between tactics quickly.
B Rank
Springtrap (The Rotten)
| Cost | Free |
| Health | 1,750 |
| Speed | 14 |
| Run Speed | 22 |
| Stamina | 70 |
Listen, I love Springtrap. He’s my favourite FNAF villain. He’s probably your favourite FNAF villain. But there’s a reason this dude is the freebie pick. Big ol’ William Afton is just a bit basic in Bite By Night so far, offering very little in terms of unique offence. He has decent Speed and Stamina, but you’re really looking at a bog-standard loop of running after players, attacking with your axe, and then just trying to repeat that cycle until they’re all defeated.
Admittedly, he has his Remnant Cleaver ability, which lets him launch his axe at foes, but it’s unbelievably easy to miss when players are sprinting around wildly. Beartrap is also decent if used correctly, letting him place traps that down players so you can follow up with a big blow, but unless you’re leaving these traps in doorways, they have a relatively small radius and can be easily dodged. The best of his moves is Scream, which lets you see all players and regen Stamina, but even that isn’t reaching the heights of the Mimic or Ennard’s abilities.
Springtrap will get the job done, and he’s not a bad Killer, especially for those getting to grips with the basics. But the other Killers offer a little more meat to sink your teeth into. They’re more effective and, more importantly, far more fun to master.
Bite By Night Survivors ranked
With the Killers out the way, let’s cover Survivor classes. There are currently four Survivor classes in Bite By Night, each coming with their own skills and strengths.
S Rank
Security Guard
| Cost | 900 |
| Health | 100 |
| Speed | 12 |
| Run Speed | 24 |
| Stamina | 100 |
Security Guards are easily the best class currently for Survivors. They have the Taser ability, which lets them stun the Killer from range, which is very useful for protecting other players. Even if the Killer can walk through the stun, they’ll move slowly, allowing nearby allies to power up a Generator before both of you escape.
They also have the Cams ability, which lets you monitor cameras to survey the Killer. It’s very useful if you want to make sure you have the time to finish off a Generator before a big bunny with a fireaxe politely removes you from the premises (and off this mortal coil).
A Rank
Fighter
| Cost | 600 |
| Health | 100 |
| Speed | 12 |
| Run Speed | 24 |
| Stamina | 100 |
Much like Security Guard, Fighter lets you pose some form of opposition against the Killer, albeit with far more risk. You have to get up close and personal with the Killer, deflecting a strike with the Parry ability. It’s hard to master, but once you do, you’ll manage to inflict a 2-second Stun effect, which locks the Killer in place.
Parry can be incredibly useful when timed right, especially as it gives you a moment to sprint away and find somewhere to hide. You can also use it to power up your other ability, Swing, which lets you inflict debuffs on the Killer depending on how many successful parries you’ve executed. They’re on the cusp of S-tier, but the time to figure out parry windows leaves them in A-tier.
B Rank
Medic
| Cost | 400 |
| Health | 90 |
| Speed | 12 |
| Run Speed | 24 |
| Stamina | 100 |
The Medic class is really for those of you who want to be heralded as the shining knight of the team. You gain both the Heal and Self Heal ability, which are exactly what they say on the tin. Heal adds 5 HP to other players’ HP every 2 seconds, and Self Heal does the exact same, but to you.
However, you basically just become a vending machine for heals. You have no other abilities that help against the attacker, and take a slight health decrease for good measure. Largely though, it’s a key role in any strong survivor team, especially towards the end of a game, where everyone’s been roughed up and needs a helping hand. Just make sure you’re not putting yourself in the line of fire while lending it.
C Rank
Customer
| Cost | Free |
| Health | 100 |
| Speed | 12 |
| Run Speed | 24 |
| Stamina | 100 |
While all of the other classes have heroic names, the Customer sounds pretty unheroic, and for good reason. You’re simply a person inside the restaurant, and as such, you have no honed, animatronic-destroying abilities. You can use Pizza to heal 20% of your health, but the lengthy cooldown and slow animation make it less than ideal if you’re in a tough spot.
Meanwhile, the Drink ability is great in theory, giving you a speed boost, but directly after its effects wear off, you get a debuff that makes you slower. There are no real upsides to playing Customer outside of grinding Scrap to earn a better ability. It’s best to get out of the Customer-zone as quickly as you can.
And that’s that for our ranking of all of Bite By Night’s killers and Survivor classes. If you want my advice, get out there and earn some Scrap so you can start slashing with Ennard and tasing with the Security Guard.
