TBH: Task Bar Hero – How to Level Up Your Cube Efficiently
Tips for Leveling the Cube if You’re Overleveled and Stuck at Certain Cube Levels
If your Cube is underleveled compared to your character, feeding it high-level items is very inefficient. The Cube gains the most EXP from items that are close to its current level. For example, feeding Level 80+ items to a Level 35 Cube will provide very little experience.
Farm the Correct Item Level
As a general rule, farm stages that drop items close to your Cube’s current level.
For example:
- Cube Level: 45
- Recommended Item Levels: 30–50
You can check which stages drop specific chest levels on the wiki:
https://taskbarhero.wiki/stage-boxes
Search for the desired chest level and open the corresponding Common Chest page to see which stages drop it.
Example
With a Level 45 Cube, the highest stage that still drops Level 50 chests is 2-4 Hell.
If you farm 2-5 Hell or higher, the game starts dropping Level 65 chests instead, which provide much less Cube EXP.
Using this method, I left the game farming overnight and increased my Cube from Level 40 to Level 45.
Farm Where You Also Gain Character EXP
Whenever possible, choose a stage that also gives your characters meaningful experience.
For example, although 3-7 Nightmare also drops Level 50 chests, 2-4 Hell was more efficient because it matched my character’s level. During the same farming session, my Ranger also gained 5 character levels.
Item Rarity Matters
Higher-rarity items provide significantly more Cube EXP.
For a Level 45 Cube, Level 50 Legendary items (and above) are excellent choices for feeding.

Upgrade the Rune Tree
Don’t forget to unlock the Cube EXP nodes in the Rune Tree.
These upgrades increase the Cube EXP gained from feeding items by up to 80%, making the leveling process much faster.
