Custom Tactics Pack

Ву Fabrício/ shuresh.

This tactics pack provides complete strategy coverage for all eight competitive maps:

  • Ancient
  • Anubis
  • Dust2
  • Inferno
  • Mirage
  • Nuke
  • Overpass
  • Train

Each map includes strategies for both Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist sides, covering every buy type:

  • Pistol Round
  • Full Buy
  • Semi Buy
  • Force Buy
  • Eco Round

The collection contains enough tactics to fill every available strategy slot in the game.

Signature Plays

In addition to standard strategies, the pack includes a number of unique signature plays, marked with a .

These are specialized tactics designed for specific situations, including examples such as:

  • Lightning B-Site Take (Nuke)
  • Mid Fake (Mirage)
  • Ghost Retake (Inferno)

Tactical Variety

Unlike tactic packs that rely on a single approach, this collection includes a wide range of playstyles, such as:

Terrorist Side

  • Standard site executions
  • Double and triple splits
  • Single and double fake executes
  • Inverted fakes
  • Lurker-based strategies

Lurker positions include areas such as:

  • Ninja
  • Jungle
  • Ramp
  • Connector
  • Second Mid
  • Bathrooms
  • CT Stairs
  • Catwalk

Counter-Terrorist Side

  • Default setups
  • Anti-eco strategies
  • Anti-force setups
  • AWP-focused positions
  • Passive defenses
  • Route-specific retakes
  • Double stacks
  • Counter-read strategies, including intentionally stacking the opposite bombsite

Map-Specific Strategies

The tactics are tailored to each map rather than using the same approach everywhere. Examples include:

  • Nuke emphasizes A-site control.
  • Dust2, Inferno, and Overpass place greater focus on B-site play.
  • Ancient and Anubis make heavier use of mid control.

How the Tactical System Works

The game’s tactical system is based on a predefined scripting system rather than adaptive strategic AI.

Strategies are built from a small fixed vocabulary consisting of:

  • 18 basic rule tokens
  • 8 early-round timing rules
  • 14 mid-round rules
  • 5 late-round rules
  • 5 post-plant rules

These rules trigger a total of 21 predefined actions, such as pushing specific positions, executing site attacks, or splitting between bombsites.

Rounds follow a scripted sequence divided into:

  • Early game
  • Mid game
  • Late game

Players still react individually to visible enemies, but the overall team strategy follows the predefined timing script instead of dynamically adapting to the current state of the round.
